Don Carter

After existing on this earth for more than 45 years with only a passing familiarity with comedic improv, Don Carter was introduced to it in 2017 when his daughter became involved with improv through her school's theatre program. Don volunteered to serve as an adult sponsor for the school's improv club, and decided that if he was going to help, he should learn what improv was all about. He took his first improv class in 2018, and the rest is history.

While Don no longer serves as a sponsor of the school's improv club, he has continued to grow and learn his craft as an improvisor. Today, he is a regular player in Comedy Sportz, and is a performer in the musical improv group, The Singprovisors. In addition to regularly performing at The Comedy Arena, Don has performed at various other venues around the DFW area.

Don feels highly fortunate that people have enriched his life by sharing their love of and expertise in improvisational comedy, and is eager to do the same for others as an instructor at The Comedy Arena.
